Sneak preview of the collectible item shown at Comic Con.
Blizzard has given an agonisingly brief glimpse of a long-requested item at San Diego Comic Con – an honest-to-goodness, real-life equivalent of the Hearthstone game box upon which the game’s matches are set. Take a look at the video at the bottom of the page, around the 1:28 mark.
That brief glimpse is all we have to go on right now. We doubt we’ll see any kind of physical release of cards (beyond the measures some enterprising players have taken with high-quality print-outs), but instead we’re expecting a purely decorative storage or display box. Hopefully we’ll also be able to swap out the top layer of the box and switch between board themes.
