All of the Hearthstone happenings at BlizzCon this year.
The schedule for this year’s annual gathering of Blizzard fans has just been published on the official BlizzCon website.
For Hearthstone fans, that means hearing the first details of he third and final expansion for the Year of the Mammoth. According to the What’s Next panel for the game, the session will outline what we can expect from the last of 2017’s content drops:
“Greetings, travelers!” it reads. “Gather at the inn as the Hearthstone team gives you a look at what they’re serving up next and delve deeper into how the Year of the Mammoth will come to a close!”
The panel begins at 1:45pm PDT (8.45pm GMT) on Friday 3rd November and ends forty five minutes later at 2:30pm. It’s actually not unheard of for an expansion’s name and broad theme to be revealed during the Opening Ceremony which takes place at 11:00am PDT, with a deeper dive into the content taking place during the panel itself.
Teasingly, Ben Brode has hinted in a recent interview that a clue about the theme of the next expansion is included in the official Year of the Mammoth artwork. HSI BlizzCon finals – schedule and stream
That’s the new card set we’ve got to look forward too, then, but what about the competitive side of BlizzCon? As well as the announcements, there’ll be a number of matches wrapping up the HSI tournament. Here’s what’s taking place and when – we imagine you’ll be able to watch them all on the official Hearthstone Twitch stream, which we’ve embedded below the match listings.

Live Q and A panel
On Saturday 4th November there’ll be a live Q and A panel covering the card-creation process. This session kicks off at 2:30pm PDT and wraps up at 3:30pm.
“Get a behind-the-scenes look at the card-creation procesds and have a hand in designing Hearthstone cards. Then join the Hearthstone development team for a Q and A session!”
Hearthstone Tavern Trivia
Later on Saturday there’s a special Hearthstone quiz to tuck into. It begins at 5:45pm PDT and finishes at 6:30pm.
“The Innkeeper’s hosting a whole new kind of game in his tavern. Two teams of audience members, Hearthstone st reamers, and content creators face off and test their Hearthstone knowledge. Come play along!”
