Mind the gap.
‘Training’, in Call of Duty Zombies refers to methods of getting Zombies to all bunch up together and act how you want them to. Here’s how to do it.
It’s tough taking down zombies one-by-one. You’ll run out of ammo and get caught off guard by errant baddies. Things get far easier when you know exactly where all the zombies are.
Call of Duty: Mobile Zombies – How to Train
Training is fairly easy to pull off, but you have to know what you’re aiming to do in order to succeed.
Circle training is the easiest way to train zombies. All you need to do is find a bit of space and keep moving in a circular route. This is best carried out in the outdoor area of the map, just outside the gate next to where the mystery box first spawns. As long as you keep your distance, you should be able to go in circles constantly until the enemies are in one big clump.
A spanner in the works here is the special enemies you’ll come up against. Dogs are a bit faster, but can still be trained if you’re agile. Avogadro and Brutus are more difficult, since Brutus can rush you down and Avogadro is able to damage you with projectiles. Try to get these guys out of the way before training to avoid the danger they pose.
Banana/Figure 8 Training
This method requires you to find a point in the ground and instead of running in a circle around it, you move in an arc motion through it. This allows you to train more effectively in tighter spaces, since going in a circle would often cause you to get caught in an enclosed area.
It’s surprisingly easy to get used to, and this method makes it much easier to keep zombies at bay.
In reality, you’ll need to adapt to the situation in order to train effectively – a combination of the two will be required for bunching zombies successfully. Zombies pop up constantly and erratically, and you’ll be facing off against new scenarios in an unpredictable and inconsistent way.
You have to be able to react to your surroundings. When zombies are spawning, you’re going to have to think on your feet. Maybe one shows up in front of you and you can sidestep and add it to the train. Sometimes, you’ll need to bring out your AK-47 and spray a couple until they die or stagger to get around them. It takes a bit of practice, but eventually, you’ll be training zombies like it’s second nature.
