The best Warzone loadout for the M4A1.
The M4A1 has been a staple since Warzone released – here’s a loadout to help you use it best..
We love the M4A1 in Call of Duty: Warzone. To be fair though, everyone does. It’s been strong in Modern Warfare and remains powerful thanks to its fast time-to-kill and high damage output, as well as its versatility translating excellently into Warzone. We thought it’d be best to put together a loadout for this weapon that’s powerful in all situations, and one that should be going in your Warzone loadout drops.
Call of Duty: Warzone – Best Advanced M4A1 Class Loadout
M4A1 Assault Rifle
The M4A1 is the third AR you’ll unlock, and has been nerfed a few times already, but you wouldn’t know it if you’ve just started the game up for the first time. Its damage at all ranges and consistency with aim make it a great gun even for all levels of player at the moment, and we expect to see a whole lot of variety with this one. Level it up and see for yourself – we’ve gone and worked out our favourite attachments, secondary, perks and equipment go best with the class.
Here’s what we like attaching to our M4A1:
- Muzzle – Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel – Stock M16 Grenadier
- Underbarrel – Commando Foregrip
- Ammunition – 60 Round Mags
- Rear Grip – Stippled Grip Tape
The Stock M16 Grenadier is the longest barrel attachment available for this weapon, and combined with the Commando Foregrip makes the M4A1 super accurate in Warzone, even from a great distance away. The Monolithic Suppressor helps even further with damage range, along with the added benefit of keeping you off the enemy radar while shooting. Of course, this does all bring down your aim-down-sight speed and overall mobility, so the Stippled Grip Tape can at least go some distance to solving the issue. Finally, the 60 Round Mags are invaluable in Warzone, as you’ll be facing off against squads of enemies and you don’t want them to catch you in the middle of a reload if they’re all firing at once.
The perfect kit is hard to pinpoint, and everyone’s going to prefer certain attachments over others, so we’d recommend mixing and matching until you find something that suits you. Attachments like optics are very subjective, so it’s worth testing them all out if you want.
Here’s the rest of the class, aside from the M4A1:
- Secondary Weapon – RPG-7
- Perk 1 – Cold Blooded
- Perk 2 – Ghost
- Perk 3 – Amped
- Lethal Equipment – C4
- Tactical Equipment – Heartbeat Sensor
The RPG and C4 are especially powerful in a game mode where you can get run over by a speeding vehicle at a moment’s notice. If the enemy doesn’t have a Trophy System deployed on their vehicle, one hit from either of these is often enough to kill them completely.
