Expect a flurry of new Frozen Throne card announcements.
A livestream card reveal will take place between Hearthstone senior design Matt Place and Sean “Day9” Plott tomorrow evening. The news was confirmed on the official Hearthstone blog a little earlier on today.
The stream itself kicks off at 11am PDT tomorrow, July 28th. That’s 6pm for those of you with us in the UK, and 7pm if you’re in the CEST timezone. You’ll be able to watch the entire thing over at the Hearthstone Twitch channel, or alternatively you can watch it in the embed below.
Fingers crossed we might even get a release date for Knights of the Frozen Throne, which is currently listed with a rather vague launch window of mid-August. We’ll be adding all of the details to geeksplatform as they’re confirmed on the stream, so check the homepage for updates. Knights of the Frozen Throne is Hearthstone’s sixth expansion, and adds another 135 cards to the game. In addition to these new cards, the expansion also introduces a series of Missions to Hearthstone, set in the Icecrown Citadel. These single-player challenges take the place of the now-retired Adventures, which were removed from the game with the start of the current Year of the Mammoth.
