2019’s event will mark the sixth occasion that the event has been held in Cologne, with the destination proving a firm favourite for organisers.
Details of the 12 invited teams have not yet been released to the public, but the roster will be completed with four qualifying teams.
Full qualification details are also currently under wraps, but we do know from the official ESL One site that there’ll be two qualifying teams from Europe, and one each from Asia and North America.
As for the schedule of events at the tournament itself, the quarterfinals will be held in a best of three format on Friday 5th July 2019. The semifinals – again, best of three – will be held on Saturday 6th July.
The Grand Final will be a best of five format, and will be held at the very end of proceedings on Sunday 7th July.
