Everything you need to know about wrapping up this early Adventure.
Our Destiny 2 A New Frontier walkthrough guide explains how to find the banner, loot the region chest, find the Lost Sector and kill Skexis, Outcast Captain
A New Frontier is one of the very first Adventures you’ll undertake in Destiny 2, and it’s one that you’ll discover during your early interactions with Devrim Kay in the European Dead Zone.
It’s really not that difficult to complete, and servers more as an introduction to some of the new content systems in the sequel, but for the sake of completion we wanted to make sure it was included in our roster of Adventure guides.

Find the banner
Make your way to wards the map marker, and look for the flag hanging up just behind a bit of wall. Scan it to complete the first objective of the Adventure.
Loot Region Chest
Your next job is to go and find a Region Chest. Just make your way towards the next objective marker, clear out the trash inside, head up the stairs into the rickety old building and loot the chest when you find it.
Explore the church
Head over to the next marker on your map, killing the enemies you encounter along the way, Once you’re inside the rickety old church you’ll see a Lost Sector symbol. This indicates the nearby presence of a mini-dungeon full of enemies, a boss – and loot!
Enter the tunnels and kill Skexis, Outcast Captain
Head down the stairs right next to the symbol, and the press on through the tunnels until you come to a room containing a few enemies.
Pick off as much of the trash as you can from range, then head in and finish the rest of the enemies. Keep heading down and in and until you come to a new batch of enemies to beat.
In the final room, you’ll have to destroy Skexis, Outcast Captain. Although he’s not particularly difficult to deal with under any circumstances, you should have your Super charged by now. That’ll help make this final fight a good deal easier!
Once he’s dead – and you’ve cleared out the rest of the enemies in this area – you’ll be able to open the nearby loot chest. It’s usually found in the highest part of the final Lost Sector room in question.
With that done and dusted, the final part of this Adventure is now over!
