Destiny 2: Adieu walkthrough guide – How to kill the Legionary, the War Beasts, and find The Farm

Our Destiny 2: Adieu walkthrough explains how to kill the War Beasts, fight off the Legionary, and locate The Farm.
Adieu is the second Campaign Mission in Destiny 2. While you need only be Level 1 to commence it, it is recommended that you have a Power level of 10 before beginning. You should have no trouble meeting this recommendation though!

The Last City
Once you’ve hit the ground level, your task is to making your way through the mangled remains in the canal, while Cabal enemies move further above. As you proceed, you’ll pick up your Ghost once more before you leave the city and head into a more rural part of the world.

City Outskirts
Jump down to the outpost where you’ll be able to pick up an SMG, but be ready to deal with a pack of War Beasts which is about to come barrelling along towards you.
Deal with as many of these creatures as you can from range, as things get a lot more frantic once they’re up close and personal. Look down your sights if possible, aim for the head to inflict maximum damage.
Once the War Beasts have been dealt with, you’ll move onto your first proper objective in this mission.

Twilight Gap
Keep making your way through the gorge until you come to a clearing. Jump down, but be prepared to have to fight a Legionary as well as an intimidating pack of War Beasts.
If you can head directly towards the Legionary spawn point and take him out, you’ll find dealing with the pack much easier. Stay mobile when you’re dealing with these creatures so you don’t become overwhelmed.
Carry on making your way towards the falcon, but bear in mind that there is a jump that you’re destined to fail and you will find yourself on lower ground sooner or later.
Once you come to you’ll find yourself at The Farm, which is the first critical social hub in the game, and a place you’ll be returning to many times! Take this opportunity to do a meet and greet wiht all of the NPCs here, so that you become familiarised with who’s who and what you can get from where.
In particular, you want to make the location of Postmaster Darbi 55-30 second nature, along with Archivist Tyra Karn, who can decode the engrams you’ll be hoovering up through completing various types of content in Destiny 2. You can also catch up with Overseer Hawthorne, who’ll sell you new weapons and armour.
Once you’ve got up to speed with what’s what on The Farm, you’ll be able to open up your in-game Director and start the next mission in the game, Spark.
