Our Destiny 2 Dark Alliance walkthrough guide explains how to destroy the anti air turrets, disable the tanks and get the artillery cannon offline.
Dark Alliance involves helping Hawthorne take out the Red Legion’s anti-aircraft cannon and sabotage their base located in the EDZ. You’ll have to infiltrate their territory and go about destroying all of their precious anti-air equipment while trying to survive.

Investigate the Anti-Air problem and search the firebase
Follow the marker on your map and it’ll lead you to a strong Cabal enemy surrounded by his friends. Take this target out and it’ll drop Ordinance Installation Orders.
Again, follow the new objective marker that appears and head into the Cabal base. It’s a case of following the tunnels, hopping through vents and running through corridors until you eventually drop down into Legion’s Anchor.
The objective will change here, asking you to delve deeper into the base. Follow the marker and begin clearing Cabal at the same time. It’ll then ask you to Eliminate Defenses – keep doing what you’re doing.
Soon enough you’ll have to head outside, so follow the marker and deal with the enemies on your way there. You’ll eventually be blocked by an orange force field, before you’re ordered to – once again – push deeper into the firebase.
Follow the marker and it’ll lead you to another strong Cabal enemy. Take him out and they’ll drop a Firebase Security Code.
Once that’s done, turn back and you’ll be able to get through the force field now.

Destroy anti-air turrets and disable the artillery cannon
Head straight on towards the objective marker and hack the console. Once you’re done, go about hacking the consoles dotted around the area. Clear each the areas surrounding the console so you avoid getting picked off in the process of hacking them.
There are some objective markers in the distance lining the side of the Cabal base. Just shoot them and they’ll explode, disabling anti air turrets in the process.
Once you’re done destroying them all, it’s time to disable the enemy tanks. Move over to the tanks and on their underside you’ll notice a large orb/generator. Shoot them enough and they’ll explode.
Now that you’ve taken them down you’ll have to face off against a tough Cabal mini-boss Taskmaster Vazar. It’s worth using your Super here to clear this section nice and quickly. Pick up the Firebase Security Code off his corpse and head towards the next marker.
Once you’re at the marker, look up above you and you’ll see a generator of some sort with a pulsing orange light. Shoot it and this is the first step to disabling the Artillery Cannon.
Move further into the base, following the marker to an enormous open dome area, and hop your way towards the console on the opposite side. Activate it and this will complete the mission!
