Turns out the Cabal use a pretty flawed system to power everything in their arsenal. Strangely, they use a single technology to do so, which means that we can take advantage of this design flaw and sabotage it.
In Reversing The Polarity, you’ll have to prove that this is the case, force a maintenance window at the Firebase and utilise this to ruin their artillery systems. The first half of this Adventure is plain-sailing, but when you’re overloading the firing mechanisms it can be pretty tricky to survive. Don’t worry though, as we’ve put together a number of tips and tricks to help you beat this encounter below.

Test Ikora’s Theory, Get to the Firebase and Gain Access
Follow the objective marker on your map and it’ll lead you to a destroyed, burning tank. Move closer, interact with it and you’ll end up clutching a power core. Run up the hill over to the next marker and interact with the console. If you’re being overwhelmed, don’t be afraid to muscle in and smack the Cabal away.
Once the objective changes, head on over to the Firebase.
Now that you’ve arrived, you’ll have to gain access. Head to the marker and you’ll see a bunch of Cabal Legionaries. Just kill them all off and they’ll drop Security Data Fragments.
Force a Maintenance Window and Sabotage the Artillery Firing Mechanisms
Yet another console will be marked on your map, so head up and interact with it.
It’s at this point you’ll want to move down to the center of the arena and position yourself directly on top of the large platform. You’ll notice a rising percentage bar and it’s a case of holding out until this rises to 100%. Once this happens run to one of three structures surrounding the center platform (with the glowing blue lights) and interact with them to receive a power core.
Once you’re clutching one, head over to the marker which’ll lead you to a similar structure, only it’s positioned facing away from the center. Interact with it, and that’s one firing mechanism overloaded.
Rinse and repeat this three times to get through this section. To avoid being overwhelmed by enemies, we recommend hopping off the center platform and dealing with mobs as you circle around it. This way you’re far less likely to be taken down. Simply hop back on once the coast is relatively clear.
When you’re finished with this, that’s mission complete!
