Dimasick joins Gambit
The fifth and final member to be revealed soon.
Dmitry “dimasick” Matvienko has joined Gambit, leaving the organisation with just one more member to round out the roster.
Matvienko’s arrival has been rumoured since October, with his name springing up alongside Vadim “Flarich” Karetin as potential newcomers to the team.
While there is no news on whether Karetin has been picked up, Gambit confirmed that Matvienko had joined the squad in a twitter post, and will be introducing the final member of the team “shortly”.

Gambit has shaken up its roster in recent times, with dynamic duo Abay “Hobbit” Khasenov and Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev having been shifted onto to the transfer list, and Denis “seized” Kostin leaving the organisation after being benched for a lengthy period of time.
With a completely revamped lineup, it’ll be interesting to see how Gambit perform in the CIS Minor in the lead up to the IEM Katowice 2019 Major. It takes time to build team chemistry, and it’s arguable that the squad is now lacking the firepower that “hobbit” and “AdreN” brought to the table. There is no doubt that its new players will be eager to prove themselves, but for now we’ll just have to wait and see.
