The competition returns this September.
ESL One New York will return to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the fourth consecutive year, and it all kicks off in September.
Taking place between September 28-29th, ESL One New York will feature eight of the world’s top CS:GO teams competing for a slice of the $200,00 prize pool.
Six teams will be invited to compete in New York, with two additional spots opening up for qualifying squads. Following this, there will be a double-elimination group stage with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals. Once the top two teams are decided, the competition will culminate in a best-of-five grand final scheduled to take place on the 29th.

Over the course of three years, three different champions have emerged victorious: Natus Vincere in 2016, FaZe Clan in 2017 and mousesports in 2018. For 2019’s rendition of ESL One New York, many teams are in contention for the trophy and it’s definitely a tough call to make.
If Astralis are invited, they’re almost certainly favourites to take the tournament. However, the landscape of competitive CS:GO has become increasingly competitive recently, and it isn’t beyond the realms of possibility that the mighty Danes can be felled by at least five or six other teams. MIBR, Team Liquid and many more all stand a chance.
Tickets for ESL One New York are available from today through the official website.
