While this news comes as a shock, it’s no secret that FaZe has been struggling as of late. This season has been especially difficult for the team, with only one victory at EPICENTER 2018 and unexpected early exits at both the Major and ESL One New York 2018.

NiKo is expected to take over in-game leadership and the team is now in search of fifth member. It’s likely it will pick a support player to fill karrigan’s role, but there are no rumours as to who this could be right now.
FaZe’s current lineup now looks like this:
- Nikola “NiKo” Kovač
- Olof “olofmeister” Kajbjer
- Håvard “rain” Nygaard
- Ladislav “GuardiaN” Kovács
- Finn “karrigan” Andersen (substitute)
- Robert “RobbaN” Dahlström (coach)
