Final team list for IEM Katowice New Legends Stage confirmed
Every teams that's competing in Week 2 of IEM Katowice 2019.
The New Challengers Stage of the IEM Katowice 2019 Major has come to a close, and with that we now know the names of all 16 teams that will be competing in the upcoming New Legends Stage of the competition.
A total of eight teams made it through the latest New Challengers Stage, with many of the matches proving a close contest.
NRG and Renegades topped their pools, and were the first to secure their spots in week two. AVANGAR, ENCE and Vitality nabbed the next three spots, while NiP, G2 and Cloud9 advanced as the weekend came to a close.
These eight new teams now join the top eight from last year’s FACEIT London Major. Just like the New Challengers Stage, the New Legends Stage will use the Swiss format to determine the match-ups.
Essentially though, the tournament will make use of an Elo rating which will be adjusted after each round. This should make each match as fair as possible.
