Season 6 of Fortnite’s introduced a tonne of new content to the game. There are now pets that hang out in your backpack, fancy cloaks, special Shadow Stones that turn you invisible and plenty of spooky map changes too. On top of all this there are, of course, a host of exciting new skins to kit our characters out with.
Among all of Season 6’s new skins, there are two in particular that stand out from the crowd: Dire and Calamity. You’ll unlock Calamity for simply purchasing the Battle Pass but Dire’s a reward for reaching rank 100. They’ve got a common theme though, and that’s the fact that they’ll look really basic when you unlock them. Crack on with their associated challenges though and they’ll begin transforming into some seriously slick looking outfits.
Both Dire and Calamity have different challenges to complete each week, and two completely different looks. Below we’ll take you through everything you need to know about unlocking them and upgrading them.

All Calamity Challenges
Here’s a list of all the tasks you’ll need to tick off if you want to fully upgrade the Calamity skin:

- Earn 50,000 XP
- Earn 90,000 XP
- Earn 140,000 XP
- Earn 200,000 XP
- Complete 10 Weekly Challenges
- Complete 25 Weekly Challenges
- Complete 50 Weekly Challenges
All Dire Challenges
Here are all the challenges you’ll need to complete to fully unleash the Werewolf:

All Hunting Party Challenges
As with previous seasons, there’s a mystery skin that’s unlocked if you fulfil certain requirements and it works in a similar fashion too. You’ll first need to complete every week’s weekly challenges and follow this up by unearthing a hidden Battle Star that’ll appear on the map once you’ve done so.
- Complete all challenges from any week.
- Complete all challenges from any 2 different weeks.
- Complete all challenges from any 3 different weeks.
- Complete all challenges from any 4 different weeks.
- Complete all challenges from any 5 different weeks.
- Complete all challenges from any 6 different weeks.
- Complete all challenges from any 7 different weeks.
- Complete all challenges from any 8 different weeks.
- Complete all challenges from any 9 different weeks.
- Complete all challenges from any 10 different weeks.
Hunting Party: Hidden Battle Stars
Week 2 Hidden Battle Star
Complete all of Week 2’s challenges (check out out Season 6 Week 2 Challenges guide for help with this in mind), and a hidden Battle Star will be tucked away on the map waiting to be unearthed.

Once you’ve completed all of Week 1’s challenges (see our Season 6 Week 1 Challenges guide for more help in that regard), and a hidden Battle Star will be waiting for you on Fortnite’s map.
