It’s now week 8 of Fortnite Season 8 and there’s a whole host of new weekly challenges to complete.
Complete this week’s selection and you’ll earn yourself plenty of Battle Stars which will go towards levelling up your Battle Pass, and in turn, unlock lots of cosmetic rewards to kit your character out with.
Just below we’ve listed every challenge available this week for both free and premium players. On top of this, we’ve also put together a few tips to help you complete those which aren’t quite as straightforward as the others.
Fortnite: Season 8 Week 8 Challenges List
Here’s a breakdown of all the challenges available for you to complete this week:
Free
- Stage 1: Search the treasure map signpost found in Paradise Palms (0/1)
- Use Vending Machines in different matches (0/3)
- Deal damage to opponents while using at least one balloon (0/100)
Battle Pass Exclusive
- Search Jigsaw Puzzle Pieces under bridges and in caves (0/7)
- Stage 1: Dial the Durrr-Burger number on the big telephone west of Fatal Fields (0/1)
- Eliminate opponents at Dusty Divot or Lucky Landing (0/7)
- Eliminate an opponent from at least 50m away (0/2)

Below we’ve put together a few pointers to help you out with some of the hidden or trickier challenges this week.
Stage Challenges
There are two “Stage” based challenges which require a few steps to tick off the challenge as a whole. Below we’ve broken them down into each component so you’re ready for whatever’s next.
Search the Treasure Map…
- Stage 1: Search the treasure map signpost found in Paradise Palms.
- Stage 2: Search the X on the treasure map signpost in Paradise Palms.
Dial the…
- Stage 1: Dial the Durrr Burger number on the big telephone west of Fatal Fields.
- Stage 2:Dial the Pizza Pit number on the big telephone east of The Block.
Treasure Map Locations
For the Treasure Map Signpost challenge you’ll need to head to the alleyway just behind the Keyboard King store in the centre of Paradise Palms. Search it and head to Frosty Flights.
The X is located right at the end of the runway, by the cliff edge at Frosty Flights. Pick this up to complete the challenge.

Big Telephone Locations
Here’s HarryNinetyFour showing you where to find both the Big Telephones on Fortnite’s map and which numbers to dial too.
Telephone #1: Southwest of Fatal Fields, on top of the nearest hill. Dial the number 555-0152 using a Pickaxe or weapon.
Telephone #2: Directly east of The Block, nestled amongst some trees near the cliff edge. Dial the number 555-0198.
