The Week 8 Challenges for Season 9 of Fortnite are now live and ready for you to tick off!
There’s not long left until Season 10, so make sure you crack on with these challenges soon otherwise you’ll miss your chance to earn some Battle Stars.
In our Week 8 guide we’ve got a list of all the challenges on offer this week (for both free and premium players), and a few tips on how to complete each one.
Season 9 Week 8 Free Challenges
- Apply Shields (400)
- Visit Different Clocks (3)
- Eliminate opponents in Snobby Shores or Mega Mall (7)
The first of these is straightforward, simply chug down shield potions and you’ll get this done in no time.
For the next challenge, you’ll need to visit three clocks across Fortnite’s map. Thankfully HarryNinetyFour has us covered on this front:
To complete the final challenge this week, you’ll need to visit either Snobby Shores or Mega Mall and get on the offensive right away.

Season 9 Week 8 Battle Pass Challenges
- Damage opponents with Assault Rifles (500)
- Stage 1: Land at Paradise Palms -> Stage 2: Land at Neo Tilted -> Stage 3: Land at Mega Mall -> Stage 4: Land at Pleasant Park -> Stage 5: Land at Junk Junction
- Use a volcano vent, air vent and a zipline in a single match
- Eliminations outside of Named Locations (5)
To complete the first of these premium challenges just dish out 200 points of damage to with Assault Rifles.
The second is a multi-stage affair and pretty simple to grasp. In any given match you have to visit both locations for each stage, starting with Stage 1.
The third Battle Pass Challenge requires you to use a volcano vent, air vent and a zipline in a single match. Volcano Vents can be found north east of Lazy Lagoon, Air Vents can be found near Sky Platforms scattered around the map, and Ziplines can be found near Stunt Mountain.
To round things off, you’ll need to secure five eliminations while outside of a Named Location.
