Season 5’s coming to a close but that doesn’t mean Epic’s done, oh no, it’s left one of its best weapon reveals till last, cue the Suppressed Assault Rifle.
Introduced with patch V.5.40, there’s a brand new assault rifle for players to try out and it’ll be the sneakiest variant yet. Being suppressed, it’ll be tougher for enemies to hear your shots and will reward those who play smart with trigger discipline. One thing to note – the Drum Gun’s been vaulted and this is the weapon that’s replacing it.

What rarities is the Suppressed Assault Rifle available in?
The Suppressed Assault Rifle is available in both Epic and Legendary and will dish out either 32 or 33 damage per shot depending on what rarity you’ve looted. It’s rarity makes sense too considering that it’s a combination of an all-purpose assault rifle with the added bonus of being harder for enemies to detect.
Where can you find the Suppressed Assault Rifle?
You’ll be able to find the Suppressed Assault Rifle in Vending Machines, on the floor, in Treasure Chests and Supply Drops.
With this in mind, you’ll be lucky to pick one up considering it comes in both Epic and Legendary variants.
Any Suppressed Assault Rifle tips?
Here’s a handful of basic tips which’ll get you up and running with the Suppressed Assault Rifle in next to no time!
- We’d advise that you tap the trigger and avoid going full auto on enemies out in the distance. You’ll be far more accurate this way!
- Bear in mind that the Suppressed Assault Rifle is most effective at mid to long range, but shotguns or SMGs will be far more effective when up close and personal.
- Make sure you’re aiming for the head as it’ll double your damage output.
- If you’ve got the time, crouching when you’re rattling off shots will make you ever so slightly more accurate.
