How to complete week 3's challenges.
Our Fortnite Week 3 Season 7 Challenges guide contains a list of all the challenges available this week, as well as a number of tips, tricks and strategy advice to help you complete them easily.
Christmas is just around the corner, but that won’t stop the Fortnite machine. Nothing will. There’s a third set of weekly challenges for you to get stuck into once you’ve had your mince pie, filled your stocking and watched Die Hard.
As per usual, you’ll need to eliminate enemies with specific weapons, land at certain locations and seek out points of interest on the map.
To help you get these challenges out of the way without much hassle, we’ve put together a guide just below.
Fortnite: Week 3 Challenges list – Season 7

FREE
- Ride a Zipline in 5 different matches (0/5). 5 Battle Stars
- Stage 1: Land at Lonely Lodge (0/5). 5 Battle Stars
- Legendary weapon eliminations (0/2) – HARD. 10 Battle Stars
PREMIUM
- Search Chests at Polar Peak or Tomato Temple (0/7). 5 Battle Stars
- Ring a doorbell in different named locations in a single match (0/2). 5 Battle Points
- Search between three ski lodges (0/1) – HARD. 10 Battle Stars
- Stage 1: Deal damage with Shotguns to opponents (0/200) – HARD . 10 Battle Stars
Those are all of the challenges available in Week 3 of Fortnite Season 7, then, but how do you complete them all? Good question, and in the rest of this article we’ll go through each task one by one.
Ride a Zipline in 5 different matches
To complete this challenge you need to ride across a zipline in five different matches, ensuring that you finish each match naturally – don’t quit out early as it won’t count towards your progress.
You can find Ziplines dotted around the map, but you’re likely to find more in the wintery, mountainous regions.
Stage 1: Land at Lonely Lodge
This is a pretty self explanatory multi-stage challenge. We’ve listed all of the stages for you just below:
- Stage 1: Land at Lonely Lodge
- Stage 2: Land at Pleasant Park
- Stage 3: Land at Lucky Landing
- Stage 4: Land at Lazy Links
- Stage 5: Land at Tilted Towers
Legendary weapon eliminations
You will need to earn 2 Legendary weapon eliminations, so it’s a case of getting lucky with the loot your find. If you manage to secure any legendary weapon that’s capable of taking out enemies with ease, make sure you get on the aggressive as you’ll be wasting your opportunity otherwise.
Search chests at Polar Peak or Tomato Temple
We’d recommend landing at these spots as soon as you can and sprinting to chests once you’ve hit the ground. Forget about eliminations and focus your efforts solely on finding and cracking open as many chests as you possibly can. Do this and you’ll complete this challenge in next to no time.
Ring a doorbell in different named locations in a single match
For this challenge you need to find a house with a doorbell, wait for an opponent to wander inside and ring the doorbell. Do this once in two different named locations and you’ll complete the challenge.
Thankfully many houses have a doorbell, so finding one shouldn’t be too much of an issue. The difficulty lies in finding a player lurking inside a house in the first place, so make sure you’re listening out for the patter of footsteps before entering any building.
Name locations count as anywhere on the map which is named. For example, Tilted Towers, Polar Peak, and so on.
Search between three ski lodges
To complete this challenge you need to find a spot between three ski lodges which will spawn a hidden Battle Star.

This multi-stage challenge involves dealing damage to opponents with specific weapons. Whenever you get hold of each specified weapon, make sure you’re using it as your primary shooter!
