How to complete every challenge this week.
Our Fortnite Week 9 Challenges guide contains a list of all the challenges available this week, as well as a number of tips, tricks and strategy advice to help you complete them easily.
We’ve reached the penultimate week of Season 6 and as you’d expect, a fresh batch of weekly challenges have gone live too.
For this week’s selection, you’ll be tasked with dealing damage to players with specific weapons, dealing damage with certain weapons and many other things besides. It’s well worth knuckling down and cracking on with these tasks as you’ll earn Battle Stars which’ll go nicely towards levelling up your Battle Pass. The season’s ending soon as well, so all the more reason to get them done and dusted.
Below we’ve outlined all of the free and premium weekly challenges, along with a few tips to help you get them out of the way quickly.
Fortnite: Week 9 Challenges list – Season 6

FREE
- Get 30s of airtime in a vehicle (0/30). 5 Battle Stars
- Get a score of 10 or more on different Carnival Clown Boards (0/3). 5 Battle Stars
- Consume Mushrooms (Stage 1) (0/5) – HARD. 10 Battle Stars
PREMIUM
- Deal damage to players with a Clinger, Stink Bomb, or a Grenade (0/300). 5 Battle Stars
- Deal damage to opponent structures with Dynamite (0/10,000). 5 Battle Points
- Rocket or Grenade Launcher Eliminations (0/3) – HARD. 10 Battle Stars
- Deal damage with Grenades to opponents (Stage 1) (0/100) – HARD . 10 Battle Stars
Those are all of the challenges available in Week 9 of Fortnite Season 6, then, but how do you complete them all? Good question, and in the rest of this article we’ll go through each task one by one.
Get 30s of airtime in a vehicle
To complete this challenge, you’ll need to commandeer a vehicle, find some ramps around the map and get as much air as possible. We’d recommend using the Quad Crasher if possible as with its boost ability you can get some serious hang time.
If you’re struggling to find ramps around the map, you can go ahead and launch yourself of a large hill or cliff and hope you land on all fours.
Get a score of 10 or more on different Carnival Clown Boards
For this challenge you’ll need to locate 3 different Carnival Clown Boards across the map and score a total of 10 on each.

Consume Mushrooms (Stage 1)
To get this challenge underway, you’ll need to, well, consume mushrooms. You’ll generally find them in darkened areas under trees, which makes Wailing Woods a prime spot for chowing down.
Deal damage to players with a Clinger, Stink Bomb, or a Grenade
Your best bet for this challenge is to get hold of a Clinger or Grenade and use them in as many fights as possible. We’d ignore the Stink Bomb as it’s harder to reliably land damage as players will ultimately escape the toxic mist in a matter of seconds once they realise their health is ticking down.
If you spot a situation where a bunch of enemies are clumped together, then this is a prime opportunity to rack up some serious damage numbers.
Deal damage to opponent structures with Dynamite
There’s nothing for it but to find some Dynamite and chuck it at any structures that your enemies have built.
Rock up to a location like Tilted Towers once the dust has settled and there will often be a tonne of structures that enemies have built, so go ahead and destroy these for some quick damage points.
Rocket or Grenade Launcher Eliminations
Again, there’s nothing for it but to pick up one of the weapons and do your best to pick up some eliminations. We’d recommend using the Rocket Launcher over the Grenade Launcher as it’s far more accurate and just a lot easier to use overall.
In terms of bagging kills, we’d recommend firing your launcher at enemies already locked in a fight. This way you’re more likely to catch them off guard and secure yourself an elimination.
Deal damage with grenades to opponents (Stage 1)
You’ll actually start this multi-part challenge off alongside the other grenade related challenge in this list. It’s a case of employing the same tactics too – find grenades and use them in fights.
