Our Fortnite Week 9 Season 7 Challenges guide contains a list of all the challenges available this week, as well as a number of tips to help you complete them easily.
We’re approaching the end of Season 7, but the challenges never let up. That’s right, there’s another set to complete this week, each rewarding you with a number of Battle Stars which will go towards levelling up your Battle Pass.
You’ll be tasked with hunting for Golden Balloons, dancing at three unique locations and even completing timed trials in an X-4 Stormwing.
Below we’ve listed all of Week 9’s challenges, along with some strategy advice for completing some of the toughest.

Free (open to all players)
- Use a Sneaky Snowman in different matches (0/3). 5 Battle Stars
- Stage 1: Land at Retail Row (0/5). 5 Battle Stars
- Eliminate opponents at Junk Junction or Retail Row (0/3). 10 Battle Stars
Premium (Battle Pass owners)
- Pop 10 golden balloons (0/10). 5 Battle Stars
- Stage 1: Dance on a sundial (0/3). 5 Battle Stars
- Shotgun Eliminations (0/3). 10 Battle Stars
- Complete timed trials in an X-4 Stormwing plane (0/2). 5 Battle Stars
Tips and Tricks
Below we’ve compiled some tips for the toughest challenges in Week 9.
Golden Balloon Locations
To complete this challenge, you need to find 10 golden balloons across Fortnite’s map and pop them. They’re pretty small and deliberately tucked away in some pretty obscure locations, to the point where you could spend hours searching for them all.

Stage 1: Dance on a sundial
For this challenge, you need to dance on top of three unique locations on Fortnite’s map:
- Dance on top of a sundial
- Dance on top of an oversized cup of coffee
- Dance on top of a giant metal dog head

Complete three timed trials in an X-4 Stormwing plane
This challenge requires you to hop into an X-4 Stormwing plane, find three glowing hoops and complete their associated timed trial. It’s effectively just a case of finding the starting hoop, and once you’ve passed through it, you’ll just need to follow the designated route and pass through the rest of the hoops.
