Three items have been vaulted too.
Fortnite’s latest content update has introduced a brand new Sneaky Snowman item, brought back a revamped Sniper Shootout LTM, brought a community created pyramid to The Block and vaulted three items.
First up, the Sneaky Snowman consumable can be used in one of two ways. Press primary fire and you’ll throw a projectile which creates a destructible snowman. Opt for secondary fire and you’ll wear the Sneaky Snowman costume, allowing you to blend in with Fortnite’s wintery canvas.
What’s more, the Sneaky Snowman costume even allows you to move around the map and grants you a nice little shield boost too. Although, it doesn’t allow you to build or use other items, so don’t get carried away and think you’re the abominable snowman or anything.
The Block has been transformed into an enormous pyramid, courtesy of community member Directingpete. A swathe of secrets await you inside, which will all undoubtedly involve fancy ways of eliminating your opponents.
A revamped version of the Sniper Shootout Limited Time Mode has also gone live this week. Suppressed Sniper Rifles have been added, and Legendary Scoped Pistols can now be found in Supply Drops. Oh, and you can’t revive teammates in Duos and Squads which means you’ve got to be extra careful when peeking your enemies.
Elsewhere, three items have been vaulted. The Quad Rocket Launcher, Port-A-Fortress and Grappler will all be disappearing from the loot pool, but it’s likely we’ll see them again in the future with a few tweaks.
