Hearthstone HCT BlizzCon 2016 Finals: Stream, schedule and results – Hearthstone
From schedules to streams, our complete guide to this weekend's HCT Finals at BlizzCon 2016.
UPDATE 5/11 5:18PM All results from the quarterfinal stages have been added to our guide ahead of this evening’s semifinal and final match-ups.
It’s been a long road indeed, but this weekend’s BlizzCon will see Hearthstone’s eight best players face each other down until a single winner emerges as the Hearthstone Champsionship Tour victor. Before that we’ll also get out first look at the next Hearthstone expansion, heavily rumoured to be themed around Warcraft’s Gadgetzan.
We’ll be covering that elsewhere, of course. To help you stay on top of all the competitive action that coming up in the next few days though, we thought it would be useful to put together a survival guide for this last leg of the competition. In this article you’ll find a breakdown of the brackets determining who faces who on the road to the final matches, when each round is schedule to take place, and links to any public streams available.
Note that we’ll be updating this HCT Finals guide continuously over the coming days, updating relevant sections as matches finish, tucking results away in an accessible but spoiler-free way, and bringing you any VOD that we can get from official sources.
First of all, let’s deal with the timezones here. If we take 12.00 PDT as the starting point, this translates into the following regional times:

GMT | UK | 7:00PM |
CEST | Europe | 9:00PM |
CST | China | 3:00AM (next day) |
KST | Korea | 4:00AM (next day) |

Streams
We don’t yet know how much of the Hearthstone BlizzCon Finals will be broadcast free of charge, and how much will be locked behind the Virtual Ticket.
We’re pretty confident, however, that anything that is broadcast without charge will appear at the official Twitch channel. We’ve embedded it here so you don’t even need to go to the trouble of clicking a link…
Results
In order to avoid spoiling the results for anyone who’s catching up on content that’s not convenient for their timezone, we won’t be providing results information directly in this guide. Instead, we’ll add links to separate pages covering individual stages of the tournament, so you can get a peek at only those results you want to see.

VOD [Video On Demand]
We’re not yet sure how exactly Blizzard is going to handle Video On Demand this year. If you’ve purchased the BlizzCon 2016 Virtual Ticket, then you can catch-up on all the action at a time that’s convenient for you over at the official BlizzCon site.
Low-quality embeds for non Virtual Ticket holders may be available, and if we can possibly bring you video coverage right here then we will. Note that we will only embed video in this guide that’s been released on the game’s official YouTube channel or some other official Blizzard site.
