The buildup to Hearthstone’s next single-player adventure, Tombs of Terror, is underway, as a new two-week event Onward to Uldum is now live. Following Tombs of Terror’s announcement last week, you’ll be able to log into Hearthstone today and make a start towards the Tombs of Uldum.
Onward to Uldum consists of a couple of themed Tavern Brawls, with bonus rewards available for completing them. The first of these Tavern Brawls will take the form of a Dungeon Run-style adventure, where you’ll add bundles of cards to your deck as you partake in battles.
Running from September 4th-10th, the opening Brawl of the event is The League of Explorers: Revived. You must guide Elise in her quest to recruit her League of Explorers comrades, taking down vicious monsters and villains of the desert as you go, culminating in a faceoff against Dark Pharaoh Tekahn. You’ll receive a Legendary Quest upon login, the reward for which is a free Saviors of Uldum pack, which you’ll earn alongside the usual Classic pack gained from participating in Tavern Brawls.
Between September 11th-18th, the Tavern Brawl will switch over to Three Wishes, a quest based on everyone’s favourite genie, Zephrys the Great. We’ll have more details when it’s released, but we assume it’ll be all about making the most of Zephrys’ ability to wish for the perfect card. This time, you’ll get two Saviors of Uldum packs with your Legendary Quest, as well as the Classic pack.
Make sure you give them a whirl – each battle is designed in a creative manner, making it worth playing regardless of the free packs available. All that’s left now is to await the Tombs of Terror – keep an eye out for our guides when the adventure releases!
