Can I move my Tent?
Yes you can move your Tent. To do so, you’ll first need to play enough to unlock and upgrade the Resident Services centre.
Once you’ve done so, speak with Tom Nook and select the option to move your lot.
He’ll present you with two payment options: Bells or Nook Miles.
Moving your Tent will set you back a whopping 30,000 Bells, or a hefty 5,000 Nook Miles. These are big lumps sums so early in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, so be absolutely sure you want to do so before committing.
Where should I place my Tent?
It goes without saying, but this is entirely up to you and your playstyle. Consider what you enjoy. If you like fishing, then pitching it by a river will compliment your angling interests nicely. Want a secluded spot? Find a nice patch of trees, or even pitching it up by the coast may provide the quiet you need.
Also think about what other resources are nearby. If you don’t mind trekking a little way to gather things, then by all means pitch your tent far away from trees, bugs, and the like. However, if you want everything at your fingertips, then consider setting up your Tent amidst the hustle and bustle of island wildlife – and you villagers too!
Where should I place my villagers’ tents?
Again, wherever you so please. However, it might be worth placing them fairly close to your own, so you can interact with them easily. It’s also nice placing villager tents quite near one another to increase interaction between them.
How can I upgrade my Tent?
To upgrade your Tent, you will need to pay off your loan to Tom Nook. Either by paying him 49,800 Bells or 5,000 Nook Miles.
One you’ve handed over the cash house construction will commence immediately and you can begin decorating straight away.
