Karrigan loaned to Envy in build up to IEM Katowice Major
He'll be replacing "Pollo" as in-game leader.
Finn “karrigan” Andersen has joined Envy on loan and will play for their CS:GO team at the Americas Minor in the hopes of qualifying for the IEM Katowice Major later on in the year.
Karrigan’s sudden jump to Envy comes after he was benched by FaZe in December of last year.
Despite winning a number of tournaments and placing highly in others at the start of his time with FaZe, it’s no secret the team had an especially difficult 2018. With only one victory at EPICENTER 2018 – and unexpected early exits in both the Major and ESL One New York 2018 – it was clear a roster change had to happen sooner or later.
Yo, 2019 starts with a loan to envy for minor/major. Thanks to FaZe for letting me get this opportunity to play for envy. A org I always respected deeply and I’m excited to work with this guys during the major. https://t.co/qnKuxojRek

It was widely speculated karrigan was on his way out before he was eventually benched, as Nikola “NiKo” Kovač had switched to in-game leader, replacing karrigan’s role within the team.
Karrigan’s set to replace Matt “Pollo” Wilson as their in-game leader, and the revamped Envy lineup will be taking part in the Americas Minor on 22-26th January 2019.
Excited to work with @karriganCSGO and have a legendary IGL to guide us. A lot needs to be said about @PolloCSGO though. He was fantastic for us throughout his time standing in. Nothing but good things to say about him and wish him the best going forward. https://t.co/bSZxGob37P
