How to unlock all the new Overwatch goodies in the Nexus Challenge 2.0 promotion.
Blizzard has just confirmed that the next hero to make the journey over from Overwatch to Heroes of the Storm will be D.Va.
To mark the occasion, it’s also been confirmed that D.Va will be getting a brand new Overwatch skin: Officer D.Va.
There’s more though. You’ll also be able to unlock the Oni skin that was part of a different promotional offer that featured towards the end of 2016. It’s all part of the Heroes of the Storm 2.0 re-launch, which introduces a huge swathe of changes to reinvigorate Blizzard’s under-performing brawler.
If that wasn’t enough, you can also bag yourself a total of ten free Overwatch Loot Boxes just by sticking around for the later stages of the re-launch event.
Here’s how it’s all going to work, and how you can get your hands on all of these brand new Overwatch goodies. Note that this guide is a work in progress, and we’ll be adding firm dates and other details in due course.
Unlocking the Oni skin in Overwatch
If you play a total of five games during Week 1 (beginning 24th April) of Heroes of the Storm 2.0, then you’ll receive the Oni skin, spray and player icon for Genji in Overwatch. These games can be played in Versus AI, Quick Match, Unranked or Ranked, but you must sign up for each game in a group with a Battle.net friend.

Unlocking the Officer D.Va skin in Overwatch
In Week 2 (1st May) of the re-launch event, if you play another 5 games of Heroes of the Storm – again, observing the same rules detailed above – then you’ll unlock the Officer D.Va skin for use in Overwatch.
Note that in Week 3 (8th May), you’ll be able to earn the Officer D.Va icon and spray for the game by playing another five games with a Battle.net buddy.
Unlocking the free Loot Boxes in Overwatch
Stick around for Week 4 (15th May) of the Heroes of the Storm event, finish off another five games, and you’ll get 10 free Loot Boxes for Overwatch. Not bad all things considered!
Unlocking the new skins on PS4 and Xbox One
If you’ve got a PC capable of running Heroes of the Storm (a very undemanding game), then you can still bag these items for your console Overwatch account. Download and install the Battle.net desktop launcher, use your console credentials to sign in, then simply download the game from within the Blizzard app.
