Pick’Em Challenge still available for the CS:GO FACEIT Champions finals
You have less than 24 hours left to make your final predictions.
The final Champions Stage of the FACEIT CS:GO Major kicks off tomorrow, which means you’ve now got a little under 24 hours to make your final predictions and participate in the last leg of the Pick’Em Challenge.
To participate you’ll need to purchase Team Stickers from the Steam Marketplace, or from within CS:GO itself. You can then apply the sticker to the team in question, at which point your choice of team is locked in until the end of the tournament.
For the final Champions Stage, you’ll earn 12 points for every correct quarterfinal pick, 10 points for each correct semifinal pick, and 7 points for choosing the champions of the Grand Final.
As for the rewards on offer, you can unlock Trophies by hitting certain points thresholds: 25 (Bronze), 50 (Silver) or 75 (Gold). These trophy badges can then be displayed on your Steam profile and CS:GO avatar, and there’s a leaderboard for bragging rights too.
The Pick’Em Challenge has been running throughout the Major 2018. If you took part in Pick’Em for the previous Challenger and Legends stages of the tournaments, your points will carry over into the Champions stage, and you’ll be able to re-use any valid stickers from these earlier rounds.
The FACEIT CS:GO Major is the game’s largest tournament, and the finals will play out this weekend at Wembley Arena in London. A total of $1,000,000 is up for grabs during the Champions Stage, with the winning team taking $500,000 of that prize pot.
