PUBG: Best gear – Armour, equipment and items
Our guide to PUBG’s best gear in terms of armour, equipment and items will ensure you always have one eye on the most important upgrades.
Looting a solid collections of weapons is obviously great and all – and should be right at the top of your to-do list – but as well as that firepower you’ll also need to track down the best armour and other items to back it up. It’s all well and good having a nicely ugpraded Assault and Sniper Rifle in your inventory, but they’ll be of limtied use if you’re unable to survive more than a few seconds of combat!
The good news is that there’s a wide selection of all-important armour, equipment and consumables you’ll be able to hoover up while scouring buildings for loot. Some of these items increases the amount of stuff you can carry, while other bits and bobs will allow you to heal up after a few shots to the unmentionables. There are even bits of kit that ensure you can take a bullet to the skull and merely shrug it off.
In other words, your odds of outlasting the competition in just a T-Shirt and jeans is pretty low, and so we’ve put together a list of all the best equipment you can obtain in PUBG, with reasons as to why each item is such an important part of any budding survivalist’s inventory.
As a quick side note before we start, PUBG is constantly evolving with patches and hotfixes. This means we’ll do our best to continuously update this guide to make sure it’s always as relevant as possible. Keep it bookmarked for all the latest info on the strongest items you can get in the game.

Best equipment
Before we start, we’d like to point out that this is a list of the best gear you can get in PUBG purely from a stats wise. They’re all pretty rare and the likelihood of finding them is pretty slim. Just because these items are clearly the best, doesn’t mean you should completely disregard their lower tier counterparts. Just know what you’re looking for in an ideal-world scenario.
Picking up more commonly found Level 1 gear or consumables is still extremely important!
Armour

- Spetsnaz Helmet (Level 3): + 230 Armour, 55% Damage Reduction.
- Military Vest ( Level 3): + 250 Armour, 55% Damage Reduction.
Put simply, having a Level 3 helmet and vest will allow you to soak up more bullets before hitting the dirt. Both also protect the player’s head and chest right up until their last point of durability has given out, which makes them exceptionally useful if you’re caught up in multiple fights.
Increase your chances of finding these armour items by dropping into Military zones on both Erangel and Miramar. Just be careful as you loot, because you certainly won’t be alone.
Equipment

- Backpack (Level 3): + 270 Capacity.
Having a top-tier backpack means you’ll be able to carry a significant amount of items!

Consumable Items

- Adrenaline Syringe: + 100 Boost.
- Med Kit: + 100 Health.
The Adrenaline Syringe can only be found in Crates and it’ll max out your boost level in one use. This makes it fantastic for healing over time quickly so you can survive the blue, or make it into the final circle nicely buffed.
Med Kits are rare healing packs that are usually found in hotly contested areas. Using one will heal you up to maximum health, as opposed to normal First Aid Kits which only heal you up to 75%.
