Riot Games’ is hosting an anime themed, month long event across three of its titles: League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, and Teamfight Tactics. It’s running from July 22nd to August 24th, 2020 and will bring new features, including cosmetics, game modes, and more to each game.
For League of Legends, Spirit Blossom will add a bunch of new skins, Nexus Blitz will return, and Lillia, the newest champion will make her debut. It’s also introducing Spirit Bonds, a new narrative experience which’ll see you interacting with champions from the Spirit Blossom skinline, earning favour with them, and completing missions to get some sweet, sweet rewards.

When it comes to Legends of Runeterra, players will be able to nab some limited-time Spirit Blossom goodies by playing and earning XP. If you’re hungry for more anime treats, an Event Pass can also be purchased which’ll feature even more cosmetic rewards as you level. On the game modes front, there’s a new game mode which’ll feature preconstructed Spirit Blossom decks and a special condition where defeated units buff your hand.
Teamfight Tactics fans will be able to unlock new Little Legends skins for Featherknight, Hushtail, and Melisma. A new pricing model will also mean you’ll be able to purchase one star versions of them right off the bat.
