Should Innervate be moved to the Hall of Fame? – Hearthstone
Tempostorm's Reynad argues the card now makes Druids overpowered.
The Druid’s core ramping spell Innervate should be removed from Standard play and banished to the Hall of Fame, according to Tempo Storm founder and streamer Andrey “Reynad” Yanyuk.
You can view the video in which he discusses the topic below:
Reynad argues that the Hearthstone team should not simply wait until the next card set rotation to remove Innervate, but act now before the card comes to ruin the emerging meta altogether.
The Hall of Fame contains a handful of cards from the Classic and Basic sets that are considered so strong that they had to be relegated from the Standard ladder along with older sets consigned to the Wild format.
Innervate has threatened to be a bit of problem since the Un’Goro meta, allowing then-new cards like Vicious Fledgling and Bittertide Hydra to be played so early on in the match that they almost guaranteed a Druid win.
Reynad argues that the release of cards such as Ultimate Infestation with Knights of the Frozen Throne has now provided the Druid with the final end-game pieces necessary to be truly overpowered.

As a result there are now a disproportionate number of competitive Druid decks in the overall roster, from classic Ramp Druid to Jade Druid, Token Druid and plenty more besides.
What do you think about all of this? Should Innervate be moved out of Standard or should some of the Druid’s new cards be tamed a little? It’s very early for a nerf of new content, and it would be a bit of an embarrassment for Team 5 to have to revise a new card at this stage.
