Our second assessment of the best Epic cards in the Journey to Un'Goro expansion.
Although it’s still very early days for the Un’Goro metagame, it already looks as though some stand-out Epic cards are making themselves very well known indeed. They’re popping up here there and everywhere in our round-up of Un’Goro decks, and although much will change in the metagame in the coming weeks, they seem like very solid choices to craft for the long run.
It’s important to note that there are always cards in each expansion that don’t end up delivering on their on-paper promise. For that reason you should be very careful with your dust, and avoid crafting many of the more expensive cards until the metagame has settled down a bit.
That said, we thought it would be interesting to highlight some of the best Epic cards you might consider crafting if you want to play the latest and greatest decks. We will update this list continuously in the coming weeks, and will cut any cards that fall by the wayside.
Don’t forget to let us know your own thoughts on this selection in the comments.
UPDATE #2: Now that we’ve got an idea of the most competitive decks in the Un’Goro metagame, we’re able to break down our crafting recommendations a little more clearly, with the most powerful decks affecting the overall ranking of their related Epic cards. Note that the specific rankings are very flexible here – focus on the decks you most want to play first and foremost.
