The Grau is the best gun in the game to many people. Here’s how to kit it out for Warzone.

Best Grau 5.56 Loadout in Warzone
Despite the Grau 5.56’s nerf in Season 4, it’s still one of the top guns in Warzone. The No Stock attachment was nerfed, but this build replaces it with a Monolithic Suppressor, keeping you laser-accurate at long ranges. It’s not as brutal at range, and you’ll be outdone by sniper rifles, but the Grau 5.56 remains a hugely powerful weapon in Call of Duty: Warzone. Here’s our favourite loadout for it:
- Muzzle – Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel – Tempus 26.4″ Archangel
- Laser – Tac Laser
- Underbarrel – Commando Foregrip
- Ammunition – 60 Round Mags
This is a great weapon thanks to its ability to put out damage at range, whilst still holding its own at mid ranges.
Of course, it’s all subjective, so if you want to kit the gun out for close range you can always swap out the Monolithic Suppressor for the No Stock. The class above is our favourite though, and it’s a great starting point for your own experimentation.
How about the rest of the loadout though? Well, here’s what else we use with the Grau 5.56:
- Secondary weapon – RPG-7
- Perk 1 – Cold Blooded
- Perk 2 – Ghost
- Perk 3 – Amped
- Lethal – C4
- Tactical – Heartbeat Sensor
These are all pretty common in Warzone. We like using Ghost ahead of Overkill since you can often grab an extra secondary weapon like an SMG or Sniper either from looting or a previous loadout. Even if you don’t though, the RPG is a super strong way to take chunks of health out of enemies or down them outright in one shot, as well as flushing them out of hiding.
The equipment, C4 and Heartbeat Sensor, are our favourites to take out into the Warzone too. C4 is a one-shot for almost every vehicle in the game, whilst the Heartbeat Sensor gives you extremely valuable intel on all enemies without Ghost. It’s won us no small number of gunfights.
