All the goodies you can grab in the build-up to Journey to Un'Goro!
How to get free cards, packs, dust and gold as part of the Year of the Mammoth Daily Rewards scheme.
The release of Journey to Un’Goro will herald the start of the new Year of the Mammoth for Hearthstone. Once this new annual season is upon us, you’ll only be able to make use of certain card sets if you want to play in Standard mode.
As part of the build-up to the launch of Un’Goro, Blizzard is doling out a pretty generous selection of daily rewards just for logging into the game. It’s a pretty easy way of bagging a few free packs from old Hearthstone sets, as well as a couple of Un’Goro packs for very little effort indeed.

Year of the Mammoth daily rewards

Mammoth Brawls
We’ve already experienced one of the special Mammoth Tavern Brawls back on March 15th. If you completed it then, you will have already seen a Journey to Un’Goro card pack added to your collection, ready to be opened at launch.
There’ll be two more of these special Tavern Brawls, however, and the next one – at the time of writing at least – will start tomorrow March 29th.
No date has been confirmed for the third and final Mammoth Brawl, but we’ll guess at another two week wait before it lands on April 12th.
New hero: Unlocking Maiev Shadowsong
The new hero coming to Hearthstone with the Year of the Mammoth is Maiev Shadowsong, a purely cosmetic alternative take on the existing Rogue hero.
In order to unlock this hero, you’ll simply need to play a total of ten Standard games once the Year of the Mammoth actually gets underway with the next expansion.
