Halloween skins – Overwatch

All of the new skins from the Halloween event, as they become available.

ORIGINAL STORY:

In a mere seven or so hours from now, Blizzard is widely expected to release a massive Halloween content update for Overwatch that will add a whole host of skins, sprays, emotes, highlight intros and what have you to the game. It’ll be the second such seasonal event for the game, and we’re excited to see what exactly the developers have cooked up for us.

As we know that quite a lot of you won’t actually be able to log in to the game when the update hits – due to school, work or whatever keeps you busy – we thought it might be a good idea to set up a page where you can get a look at all of the new content to hit the game at around 20:00 CEST. The rumour mill suggests that there are 100 new items in total, and we’re itching to get a look at them all.

When this Halloween update arrives, we’ll download it as quickly as our connection will allow, and then immediately begin the process of digging out all of the fancy new skins. Once we have them, we’ll embed them into this article just as fast as we can, so you can have a good rummage through all the new stuff. We reckon the download will be done and dusted in about 10 minutes, while the skins will take another five to grab, smarten up, and get up on the site.

We’re still waiting on final confirmation of how exactly this new cosmetic content will be unlocked for use in the game though. Will there be a special currency awarded for duplicate items, so that you can purchase the items you really want but didn’t manage to get from a loot box? Or will it be like the Summer Games content, where duplicate coins were thrown into your general slushfund and you were left to hope for better luck next time around?
