Seized parts ways with Gambit
Cites team egos as the reason for his departure.
Denis “seized” Kostin has left Gambit, recent posts by both parties have confirmed.
In an Instagram post, Kostin thanked the organisation, while offering further insight into how Gambit’s rocky team chemistry had influenced his decision.
“I was truly believed in our lineup but sadly sometimes ego’s destroying good atmosphere and teams, like this. Anyway, thanks to all with who I worked and played under tag Gambit.”
Today seized becomes free agent. Wed like to thank Denis for our time together and wish him luck in future endeavors. pic.twitter.com/vQujp5FHHw

Kostin’s stint with Gambit was short lived. He was part of the lineup that placed top-four at DreamHack Masters Marseille, but it wasn’t long before the organisation benched him for Vega Squadron’s Nikolay “mir” Bityukov. Looking back, it’s clear this was a sign that all was not well with the roster.
Kostin’s now the third big name to leave Gambit’s lineup since “Abay “HObbit” Khassenov and Dauren “AdreN” Kystaubayev also joined the transfer list.
Both Dmitry “dimasick” Matvienko and Vadim “Flarich” Karetin are rumoured to be in contention for HObbit and AdreN’s spots.
Kostin seems to have moved on from Gambit already, having competed in the first CIS Minor open qualifier as part of team UnderPressure.
