Orisa release date still up in the air – Overwatch
Overwatch's 24th hero won't be coming to the game this week
Following a frenzy of speculation that Overwatch’s 24th hero Orisa would be released onto the live servers in a patch later on today, Blizzard has stepped in to confirm that we’ve still a little longer to wait.
The devs feel that Orisa still needs a little more time on the PTR, and they have in fact just made an update to the PTR that reduces the magazine size of Fusion Driver from 200 to 150. The cost of Orisa’s Supercharger Ultimate has been increased by 10% as well.
No doubt the team wants to avoid having two currently contentious characters live in the game at any one time. We’ve yet to see whether the recent taming of Bastion will amount to a more balanced hero overall.

This is a slightly longer PTR period for a new hero than we’ve had to endure in the past. We’d expect Orisa to go live either on the 14th or the 21st March, but will update this story as soon as Blizzard provides confirmation.
