Overwatch League 2019 broadcasting team revealed
Old and new faces join the team for the second year of competitive league play.
The broadcasting roster for Season 2 of the Overwatch League in 2019 has been revealed.
The names were confirmed yesterday evening in an update to the official Overwatch League site, and includes a number of new and veteran League casters.
The following broadcasters will be manning the core presenter positions throughout the coming season of competitive play:
- Chris “Puckett” Puckett
- Malik Forte
- Josh “Sideshow” Wilkinson
- Brennon “Bren” Hook
- Soe Gschwind
Next up are the casting team members who’ll be providing insight as each match plays out. These are the people who’lld be making all the calls:
- Christopher “Montecristo” Mykles
- Erik “DOA” Lonnquist
- Mitch “Uber” Leslie
- Matt “Mr X” Morello
- Auguste “Semmler” Massonnat
- Robert “Hexagrams” Kirkbride
- Wolf “Wolf” Schroder
- Seth “Achilios” King
Finally, there’s the team of “insiders” who’ll be concentrating on player interviews at the Blizzard Arena:
- Danny Lim
- Emily Tang
- Mica Burton
Overwatch League Season 2 begins on February 14th, with four matches. The first of these features a tantalising showdown between Philadelphia Fusion and London Spitfire.
Newcomers Hangzhou Spark will take on last year’s perpetual underdogs, the Shanghai Dragons, later on that evening
