Six Overwatch heroes are currently being re-balanced at Blizzard
Find out who's next up for a re-work.
A total of six Overwatch heroes are currently undergoing internal re-balancing, according to a post made by game director Jeff Kaplan on the official Overwatch forums yesterday evening.
In response to a user who asked if D.Va would be receiving a buff in the future, Kaplan confirmed that the team considered her to be in a good place right now, but that other heroes were in need of work.

“We’re always evaluating all of the heroes,” Kaplan began. “We don’t have any D.Va adjustments in the works. She gets played a lot and is very powerful but she’s not on our list currently.
Kaplan then went on to outline those characters from the Overwatch roster that the team do believe need a little extra work. They are as follows:
“We’re trying different things for all of them. I know you want details but I don’t have them now – we’re experimenting. Some will be ready sooner than others. I’d expect Mei, Sombra and Doomfist first…maybe Hanzo depending on the direction.”
According to the Year of the Dog patch notes which were published ahead of the event launch and presumably by mistake, Doomfist is in fact getting a reworking when the next patch goes live later on this evening.
Although the damage output of his Hand Cannon is being reduced from 11 to 6, the number of bullets fired is going in the opposite direction from 6 to 11. Additionally, the spread pattern is to be made more consistent.
Year of the Dog is expected to go live a little later on this evening in the UK. You can find out all about the event in our Year of the Dog guide, and we’ve also got a rundown of global start times for the seasonal celebrations as well.
