The best hero to pick in A Scientific Recipe, with all Deck Recipes included and a breakdown of the card combos contained in each one.

A new Tavern Brawl has gone live in Hearthstone, and in this week’s challenge you’ll need to select your hero before doing battle with one of the two Deck Recipes that were added for each class with the release of The Boomsday Project.

If you’ve any experience of using either the Deck Recipe system – or new card Whizbang the Wonderful – then you’ll know that the decks on offer can be a bit of a mixed bag. For the most part, every deck is a sub-optimal version of the competitive archetype in question, but there are – frankly – some out and out stinkers in the mix as well.

In this article we’ve put together a tier list of the best to worst heroes you can choose for this week’s Brawl, based on the competitive stats made available by HSReplay.net. That should give you a good steer on what to pick.

Beyond the list itself we’ve also broken down all of the deck lists that exist throughout the Deck Recipe system. That should give you an overview of what to expect when you jump in and get one of the two Recipes. Each list also has a link to an article which breaks down all the combos.
