Our Destiny 2: Calling Them Home walkthrough guide explains how to kill Taksor, Scavenge Raider and complete every objective along the way.
Calling Them Home is the first Adventure you’ll be able to get stuck into while working your way through the early stages of the European Dead Zone. You’ll be tasked with boosting a signal from The Farm, telling fleeing citizens that they’ll be safe in this new social space.
Along the way, you’ll have to deal with some pretty intense firefights for such an early Adventure, and so we wanted to put together a complete walkthrough which should hopefully give you all the tips and tricks you need to survive the various encounters you’ll come across as you tick off each objective.
We’re basing our guide on the following video, which will explain how to complete the entire thing from start to finish in visual form. Give the creator a thumbs-up if you found the video useful, and you’ll also find a breakdown of the individual objectives outlined just below it.

Pick up the mission from the marker on your map to get things started.
Boost Hawthorne’s Signal
Head to the white markers marked on your map and activate the signal amplifiers.
Note that after placing the first one you’ll have to deal with an ambush of Fallen enemies. Mixed in with this group are four Zealous Vandals which have to be obliterated before you can move on to the next stage.
Reach a clear location
Time to get away from danger, as if you hang around here you’re going to end up fighting an endless succession of enemies. Get out of there and head to the next objective marker, via the sprawling empty streets. Just keep following the markers until you plant the next booster.
Stop Fallen interference
After placing your second booster on the ground, you’ll gain a new objective which has you destroying the jamming devices planted by the Fallen. Watch out for cloaked enemies, but just take these objects out one after another. A good few blasts of your rifle on each one is all it’ll take in each case.
Follow Hawthorne’s Coordinates
Next, Hawthorne sends you off to get some supplies for her. It’s a bit of a trek, but just take the shortest cut you can over the rivers and hills, killing any Fallen you come across along the way. Use the bridge with the ruined trucks to get across the big stretch of water here.
Don’t run too far into the camp or you’ll get overwhelmed. Instead, pick off the Shanks then fight the rest of the infantry further up ahead. Don’t forget that you can use the red explosive barrels for a little extra oomph as well. Use cover to restore your health as needs be here!
Once you’ve cleared the camp, drop another booster on the white circle, then be ready to kill a lot of enemies. You’ll need to get the tally to 100%, so just keep clearing and using cover until you’ve completed the objective.
Or at least, you think you’ve completed the objective. You’re going to have to do battle with yet another swarm of enemies now, only this time you’re facing the Adventure sub-boss: Taksor, Scavenge Raider. This guy is tough, but the moment you can activate your Super, do so and give him everything you’ve got.
That should complete this Adventure!
