FMPONE teases new artwork for upcoming CS:GO Cache rework
Cache the reveal at ESL One New York.
The co-creator of Cache Shawn “FMPONE” Snelling has revealed new artwork for its upcoming rework which is due to be officially revealed live on stage at ESL One New York 2019.
Cache’s rework was first removed from the Competitive map pool in March of this year and replaced by Vertigo. It’s since been teased over on FMPONE’s twitter, with a focus on new lines of sight, points of interest, updated textures and adjustments to competitive balance.
FMPONE’s latest tease comes in the form of a new twitter banner, which shows off some brand new artwork next to ‘tree’, an area of the map often smoked off by CTs.
Here’s a look at the jazzy new artwork:

It certainly looks as if FMPONE’s adding some extra personality to a map that’s a little on the bland side, but retaining its industrial aesthetic.
Fans won’t have to wait long to see the reworked Cache as it’s being unveiled during a showmatch at ESL One New York on September 29th, 2019. Those who attend the event will also be able to play the map on the same day too.
