This page explains how to get a Cosy Campfire in Fortnite, and finish off the Place a Cosy Campfire Week 6 Challenge.
With the release of the new Week 6 Challenges in Fornite comes a task that might stump you if you’ve not used the very specific item that’s involved before. Titled “Place a Cosy Campfire” you’re going to have to first of all find one of these items, then set it out to complete the task.
It’s not a weapon or a consumable, rather it’s technically classified as a trap. Once it’s been put out on the floor, it’ll heal any friendly or enemy players over time, assuming they’re stood in the three by three tiling space the campfire creates. Note that in the Battle Royale component of Fortnite, it heals over 25 seconds at a rate of 2 HP per second – that’s a maximum of 50 HP for each use.

Where can you find Cosy Campfires though? It can’t be crafted, and so you’re going to have to keep rummaging around in chests – and the loot dropped by dead players – until you have one that you can set out on the floor yourself. The good news is that you only need to place one of these items in order to complete the Week 6 Place a Cosy Campfire Challenge.
You have the whole of Season 3 to actually complete this challenge, so don’t get in too much of a panic about finishing it off quickly. Just remember to keep your eyes peeled for this item, add it to your inventory, and get it used as quickly as possible before you get taken out by someone who might be attempting the very same task as you…
Although chest contents are unpredictable, you’re more likely to find more of these items in densely populated areas, so head to towns and villages rather than rural outposts. You will of course find more enemies in these locations, so be prepared for a fight as you try to finish this one!
