As is tradition, Fortnite’s returned with another treasure map challenge for Week 5 of Season 5, and this time you’ll be tasked with exploring Snobby Shores to seek out a treasure map that’ll lead you towards some hidden Battle Stars on the map.
Easier said than done though, as actually going about this without any tips requires some serious time and perseverance. Thankfully the community is here to save us in this regard as they’ve already pinpointed the likely location you’ll need to aim for if you want to bag your Battle Stars without any fuss at all.
We’ve found niitq’s video to be the most helpful of the lot and it’s highlighted in this article along with a quick breakdown of the steps you’ll need to take in order to nag these hidden Battle Stars. Snobby Shores Treasure Map Location

- Take a glance at the treasure map at 0:04 seconds in and you’ll see that the X is nestled right at the top left of an area containing a church and what looks to be a cemetery. Ring any bells?
- Turns out the hidden Battle Stars can be found in Haunted Hills!
- You’ll want to land on the building just to the West of the Church in Haunted Hills. The Battle Stars will either be at the top of this building, inside or underground.
- Wait for the Battle Stars to spring from the earth, interact with them and the UI will inform you that you’ve ticked this task off.
Do be warned that this location is going to be chock full of enemies over the next couple of days, so it might be worth waiting this challenge out until the dust has settled. Of course, you can also dedicated a match to collecting the Battle Stars and embracing death to Pickaxe almost instantly after.
Perhaps the only upside to it being busy will be the ease at which you’ll be able to find the right location. Players will be swarming to the same location, so just follow them!
