Those are all of the challenges available in Week 2 of Fortnite Season 6, then, but how do you complete them all? Good question, and in the rest of this article we’ll go through each task one by one.
Visit all of the Corrupted Areas (0/7)
As you might have noticed already, last week’s patch added a number of Corrupted Areas to the map. Those purple, swirling splotches on the map are the spots you need to visit to complete this one.
It’s not yet clear whether or not you need to visit all seven in a single match, although Epic is usually pretty explicit about that when it’s required.
Use a Shadow Stone in different matches (0/3)
To complete this task you’ll need to use a Shadow Stone in at least three different matches.
These items grant you a state of near-invisibility, allowing you to approach enemy locations and gain the element of surprise.
You’ll find them in the Corrupted Areas which are detailed in the above task.
Stage 1: Deal damage with standard Assault Rifles to opponents (0/200)
Grab an Assault Rifle and shoot people. Not much more to say about this one really is there? Note that the Stage system means you’re likely going to have to progress to other weapons to get this one properly finished.
Eliminate an opponent from at least 50m away (0/1)
This one’s for the snipers amongst you, as you’ll need to bag your kill from a distance of at least 50m.
This one might take you a bit longer, so just keep the Challenge in the back of your mind for the next time you stumble across a sniper rifle.
Deal damage with Pistols to opponents (0/500)
This is another weapon-specific challenge that requires you to do a total of 500 points of damage to opponents using a pistol.
SMG Eliminations (0/3)
Next up for the weapon tasks is the SMG challenge. You can use any weapon you like to inflict damage first, but the killing blow must come from an SMG if you want this one to count.
Stage 1: Deal damage with Hunting Rifles to opponents (0/200)
Once you’ve picked up a Hunting Rifle, take every opportunity to rattle off some damage and you’ll get this one ticked off the task list eventually. You’ll then move onto the next stage of the challenge, the details of which are TBC.
