Try the game free of charge, and preserve progress if you purchase it afterwards.
Another Overwatch free weekend will take place from Friday 22nd to Monday 25th September. The news was confirmed on the official Overatch site yesterday evening.
During this period of free play, those who don’t own the game will be able to sample all 25 heroes and 16 maps in the Quick Play, Custom Game and Arcade modes of the game. As you play, you’ll be able to level up, open up loot boxes and get your hands on some new customisation options.
If you like the game and decide to buy it afterwards, all of the progress you’ve made in terms of cosmetic items and account level will be carried over into your full account. Just make sure you continue using the same Battle.net credentials, so the system remembers who you are!
