Hearthstone Hunter guide: Standard decks, Wild decks and Arena – Hearthstone
Our one-stop home for all of the Hunter guides you need.
With the introduction of the new Wild format, we’ve suddenly found ourselves with double the number of decks to keep track of. Over the last year or two we’ve also had the time to make other useful articles here and there as well: free decks for new players, budget decks, gimmicky decks and so on. While these are useful, it can be tricky to locate all this content on the site.
With that in mind, we thought it would make sense to start giving each Hero their own separate hub page on MetaBomb, a place where you can keep track of all of the latest developments for every class. We all have our favourites, after all, and it can get a little tricky keeping up with all of the latest information as it breaks – especially when a new expansion lands and updates for all Heroes are happening continually
From this Hunter guide, then, you’ll be able to find all of our content for this particular Hero and in one place. We’ve got all of the Standard and Wild decks you need to climb the ladder with, and whichever of the two ladders you choose to call your own. While we’re fond of an Arena run or two, we’ve not touched on this area of the game a great deal in the past – expect that to change in the weeks ahead.
If there’s anything else that you’d like to see us tackle, please let us know in the comments. We feel like this should make the site much easier to use in general, but we can only make it better with your feedback! Thank you as always for making MetaBomb part of your Hearthstone adventures.
Best Hunter Standard decks – June 2016
There are two core competitive decks for the Hunter who prefers to play in the Standard format right now: Face Hunter and Midrange Hunter. We hope to add some new experimental decks to this section in the coming weeks – for now though, both of these decks will serve you extremely well on the ladder.
Support the site and save up to 40% on your Hearthstone card pack purchases by buying them using Amazon Coins. You get cheaper cards, we get a small amount of revenue from Amazon’s affiliate programme. Thanks for helping us make MetaBomb more amazing!
Best Hunter Wild decks – June 2016
Wild is Hearthstone’s all-new, anything-goes-format, and it allows you to use any card, from any part of the game’s release history, in order to cook up some truly diabolical creations. We’re in the process of writing up guides for all of these decks at the moment, but for now you can use the deck lists below to get started.
Face Hunter: Face Hunter’s not only effective for a fast ladder climb, it’s pretty easy to boot.
Midrange Hunter: A pretty familiar flavour of Midrange Hunter with some of the new Old Gods cards included for a little more punch.
