The third and final stop on the Hearthstone Masters Tour 2019 will be in Bucharest, Romania. Those who qualify will join many of Hearthstone’s best players for a three day competition with a tantalising $500,000 prize pool up for grabs.
Below we’ll break down when the Hearthstone Master Tour Bucharest takes place, how it works and where you can watch all the action.
So without further ado, let’s get into it.
When does the Hearthstone Masters Tour Bucharest start?
The event runs from October 17th – 20th, 2019.
Each day the action will run from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM BST.
Here’s a list of timings for other regions:
- PST: 11:00pm – 10:00am
- ET: 2:00am – 13:00pm
What’s the format?
The tournament will be conducted using the Specialist Format, which means players will select one class and have three different decks built around this class. The primary deck will be the “base deck”, so to speak. The second and third decks may have up to 5 card differences from the primary deck.
Matches will be best of three, and both players will start with their primary deck. After each round, players may switch to their second or third deck. However, they can also stick with their primary deck if they so wish.
Players will face off against each other in a Swiss Bracket format. In a Swiss Bracket, players gain a point if they win, or lose a point if they, well, lose. In the following round, they’ll face off against someone with the same scoreline as them, which should lead to more matches where both players are of a similar standard.
