Tune in to find out what's new for the League in its second year.
A special preview show for the Overwatch League 2019 show has been schedule for Wednesday 5th December at 4:00pm PST. That’s 12:00am for those of us in the UK, and 1:00am for our friends in mainland Europe.
Titled the Overwatch League Watchpoint Season Preview show, you can expect to learn details of the first week’s schedule of play, as well as finer detail on the rosters of all 20 teams participating in next year’s competition. Hosting duties will fall to Chris Puckett and Malik Forte.
You’ll be able to watch the show on a number of different platforms (see the official announcement for full details) including Twitch.

In addition to learning more about the early days of next year’s season, the show will also feature an interview with Overwatch League commissioner Nate Nanzer, as well as a few other famous faces from the Overwatch community.
The Overwatch League is expanding significantly for its second season of competitive play. There’ll be a total of 20 teams spread across the existing regions, and – following this year’s rather intensivee schedule – players can look forward to a little more downtime between competitive periods.
Beyond these early details that have been promised for the show, we also expect more insight on 2019’s format and structure to be revealed at some point in December. As soon as we learn more we’ll run a post on the homepage.
