Washington Justice joins the Overwatch League in 2019
Team colours and coaching staff confirmed in the latest reveal.
Slowly but surely we’re learning the names of the eight new entrants for next year’s Overwatch League roster, and today we’ve been introduced to the Washington Justice.
They’ll be rocking a distinctly patriotic red, white and blue team colour scheme for their debut in Overwatch’s most prestigious competition.
Here’s the promo artwork that was released alongside the announcement a little earlier on today:

The team is owned by Washington Esports Ventures, which is headed up by investor and entrepreneur Mark Ein. He had this to say about today’s big announcement:
“Justice is a universal value and the perfect name for a franchise that we hope will inspire and unite both our Washington area community and fans around the globe,” he began.
“There is no region in the world that attracts more people to serve the cause of justice in government, philanthropy, academia, military service, and the private sector than Washington. In fact, DC’sofficial city motto is ‘Justitia Omnibus,’ which translates to ‘Justice for All.’
“As a team representing the broader DMV region, it was important that our team identity reflects a value that unifies all of our community members, representing the full diversity of backgrounds and beliefs.”
Courage, honor, loyalty, sacrifice. But most important is justice We’re stoked to be a part of #OWL2019 and we can’t wait to show you everything we’ve got! #JusticeIsServed pic.twitter.com/9I8OEo1xdd
